Sat right by the window with the boats bobbing past — the panini was toasted perfectly and the flat white was one of the best I've had in Fareham. Small place, big welcome.
Brought my laptop down and nobody batted an eye at me nursing a coffee for two hours. Plug sockets, decent wifi, and the tide was properly in by the time I left.
The Victoria sponge is cut fresh and it shows. Took our milkshakes out onto the quay wall and watched the sailboats — genuinely one of the nicest half hours I've had in ages.
Properly dog friendly — water bowl out and a treat from behind the counter without asking. Coffee's strong, staff are lovely, and it's an easy walk along the quay after.
The pink neon sign makes for a lovely spot to sit even before you've tasted anything, but the food backs it up — the toastie was generous and the chai latte had real spice to it.
Purbeck ice cream by the scoop, eaten on the harbour wall in the sun — simple and exactly what you want by the water. Only reason it's not five stars is I wanted more flavours.
